Timo Wieferink of LedLoket about Combidesk

LedLoket is a fast-growing webshop specializing in LED lighting. What started as an idea “over a beer” quickly grew into a mature e-commerce company with a team of around fifteen employees. The first steps were taken in Timo’s grandmother’s garage, followed by his father’s shed. During the COVID period, LedLoket experienced rapid growth and moved into its current premises in Denekamp.

Co-owner Timo Wiefferink is responsible for marketing and e-commerce. With new webshop software, a growing order volume, and increasingly complex payment flows, it was time to organize the administration in a smarter way. He found the solution in Combidesk’s software integrations.

Growth requires insight and control

For a long time, LedLoket operated on WooCommerce and already used Exact Online for its accounting. Pay. had been used for payment processing for many years.

As the company grew, administrative pressure increased. Automatic reconciliation was not properly set up, meaning payments often had to be checked and verified manually. This was time-consuming and made it more difficult to maintain control over the administration.

Switching to Shopify: the right moment to do it differently

At the end of 2024, LedLoket migrated to Shopify. This moment was deliberately chosen not only to renew the webshop, but also to redesign administrative processes in a smarter way. The previous webshop, with complexly configured integrations, was expensive and difficult to manage. Pay. has played an important role in LedLoket’s payment process for quite some time. Online payments are processed via Pay. for both the Dutch and German webshops. By linking Pay. to Exact Online, one clear payment flow is created: webshop orders, PSP payments, and bookings in Exact now align seamlessly.

Automatic reconciliation: matching without manual work

With the Combidesk integrations between Pay. and Exact Online and Shopify and Exact Online, orders and payments are automatically linked. Where previously almost everything had to be checked manually, this is now fully automated.

• Orders from Shopify are automatically forwarded to Exact Online.
• Payments via Pay. are automatically recognized in the accounting system.
• Bookings and payments are automatically reconciled in Exact Online.
