Combidesk Privacy Statement GDPR

Updated: September 18, 2025

Combidesk takes the privacy of internet users very seriously. Below is a description of how Combidesk handles the data of its users.

Combidesk provides software to create links between various software packages. Combidesk does this, for example, through the Combidesk.com website. If you visit this website, Combidesk will process your personal data. In this privacy statement you can read which data this is, and what we do with it.

Types of data

Combidesk processes personal data such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, user names, passwords, websites and company names.

In addition, we store API credentials of linked software, and in some cases, we store a limited part (identifier) of the synchronization data. Combidesk also keeps log files of links on its servers.

In addition, Combidesk, just like any other website, directly or indirectly, processes the IP address, information about the operating system and browser type of website visitors by means of sub-processors. An IP address can be personal data.

Sub-processors

Combidesk uses a number of sub-processors to perform its services properly. The sub-processors are mentioned below.

  • Google (Analytics)
  • Intercom
  • SendGrid

Goals of (sub-)processing

We use personal details such as names, email addresses, telephone numbers, user names, passwords, website and company names to create an account on Combidesk. Combidesk uses this data for communication with its customers, for marketing activities and for the invoicing of Combidesk products. Google is used for the email communication of account data (username and password). SendGrid is used to send specific customer emails.

We store API credentials to gain access to the software which is to be linked. With this access, Combidesk is able to exchange data between software packages. The storage of limited synchronization data (identifier) and logfiles of links is stored to provide insight into the synchronized data and, in the event of a software issue, to provide support to our users.

We use IP addresses for 2 purposes:

  1. To analyse how often Combidesk.com is visited. For this we use the statistics program Google Analytics.
  2. To correlate log records with one user session.

Retention periods

Synchronization data is stored for up to six months. After that, the data is deleted.

So-called log files of links are stored for a maximum of 21 days.

The IP addresses are also stored in log files. The log files are kept on the web server for 90 days for debugging purposes.

After that, the log files are kept for 90 days for quality assurance reasons. In addition, they will also only be viewed for those reasons.

The IP addresses in Intercom are stored for 5 days. After that, the IP addresses are removed.

The provision of personal data to other parties

We do not provide personal data to other parties (third parties), unless this is necessary in order to report criminal offenses.

Third-Party Service Integration

To use Combidesk, we need to store third-party services API credentials (Gmail, Moneybird, etc). We store hashes of these credentials in our database. They are only used to access the data you give us. We log onto certain non-identifiable information in order to provide support and find solutions to problems that arise.

Our listing on our site and the services of the content of a third-party, or a link to a third-party site, is exclusively for informational purposes. Combidesk does not accept any responsibility with regard to such content from third party websites.
