PayPal Exact Online integration without the headache

During installation, you will configure the following settings: (1) Administration: select the administration in which entries will be created. (2) Journal: select the bank journal for PayPal entries (type: Balance – Bank). (3) Debtors: select the default general ledger account for debtors (type: Balance – Debtors). (4) Transaction costs: select the general ledger account for transaction costs (type: P&L – Costs). (5) Payouts: select the interim account for PayPal payouts (type: Balance – General). Optionally, you can export historical payouts by setting a start date.

Reconciliation means matching incoming payments to open invoices in your bookkeeping. The PayPal Exact Online integration from Combidesk fully automates this process: the connector retrieves your PayPal payouts daily, finds the corresponding open invoices in Exact Online, and books everything automatically when there is a full match.

The integration synchronizes automatically every night by default. You don't need to do anything. If a synchronization fails, the connector will retry at the next scheduled run. If problems persist, you will be notified by email.

Yes, the PayPal Exact Online integration is platform-independent. Whether you use Lightspeed, WooCommerce, Mijnwebwinkel, Plug&Pay, CCV Shop, Shopify or any other platform — as long as you use PayPal, the integration works. No webshop but using PayPal? You can still use the integration.

You can try the integration free for 30 days without entering payment details. After the trial period, you will receive information about subscription pricing in time. The notice period is just 1 month — no long-term commitments.

Absolutely! No time or prefer to be taken care of? We can install the integration for you for a one-time installation fee. If you decide not to continue using the integration, the fee will be refunded.

• Do you want to book currency differences between payouts and sales entries on the ledger account for currency differences? The difference will only be booked if it is less than 2% of the sales entry amount.
• Select the ledger account for debtors
• Select the ledger account on which to book the currency conversion transactions from your PayPal account
• Do you have transactions in foreign currency? Then you can manually enter the exchange rates daily in Exact Online under Financieel > Analyse en resultaten > Valuta > Wisselkoersen, but you can also have the integration do it fully automatically.
• Select the ledger account for Payment Service Provider costs
• The administration the entries will be booked in
• Select the ledger account for outgoing payments
• Select the ledger account for payouts
• Select the journal in which currency difference entries should be booked
• Select the bank journal in which the sales entries should be booked per currency.
  
  Miss a currency? Add it first to Exact Online, then press "Refresh data".
• Indicate if you want to create new accounts in Exact Online if they don't exist. If you choose "No", bank entry lines will be booked on the payment in transit account of the journal.
• Select the ledger account on which to book the currency difference between the sales entry and the payout
• Pick a date in the past, present, or future. The first eleven imported items are free of extra charge.
